Styling Statement Boots

I’ve been looking for a great pair of statement heeled boots for a little while now and had been tempted to splurge on a high-end pair when these boots stepped into my life for a fraction of the price – £17.00 to be precise.

I know a lot of people shy away from statement or printed shoes as they find them hard to style but I think it’s a great way to inject some spice into a basic outfit.

For an easy way to add a statement piece to your wardrobe  – particularly footwear – I would advise monochrome prints as this will go with pretty much anything without clashing.

For an unseasonably hot Saturday, I paired these boots with a classic pair of blue ripped jeans, my current favourite band tee and a pair of rose gold aviators:

I think the extra details of the printed back of the Guns N Roses t-shirt, the metallic heel of the boot and the square vintage style toe are really pretty and make a basic outfit much more interesting!
